Polyanionic cellulose is used as a drilling fluid component in oil and gas production and as thickeners for building mixtures based on cement or household chemicals. Fuel Company of Rosatom TVEL implements the project of polyanionic cellulose production at of AECC JSC. The peculiarity of technology is the use of a cascade of reactors of an original design, which can significantly reduce solvent costs per ton of products. Currently, the enterprise uses a pilot plant and since 2028 the full-scale production shall be put into operation, the capacity of which will reach 6000 tons by 2030.
