History

A large-scale lithium production was created at NCCP PJSC. The technological complex processed the feedstock producing the purest possible lithium and its salts that were used in many sectors of national economy. This production enabled the plant to enter subsequently the world market for the first time.

The first batch of lithium metal was produced at NCCP PJSC in Novosibirsk.

A laboratory of automotive neutralizers has been created at UEP JSC (Ural
Electrochemical Plan), where the development of automotive catalytic systems
and exhaust gas converters for domestic cars has begun.

The first industrial batch of automotive catalysts was produced at the automotive catalyst plant (now Ecoalliance Ltd) built on the territory of UEP JSC. Deliveries of products to the European market were also organized.

ECP JSC was the first enterprise in Russia that mastered industrial processing of depleted uranium hexafluoride into uranium oxide which is considered as a valuable energy resource and a potential source of fluorine for production of ozone-safe refrigerants and other organic products.

NCCP PJSC has mastered the production of a new product – high-purity lithium carbonate.

Ecoalliance LLC has started production of automotive catalysts of its own design that meet the requirements of international environmental standards "Euro-5".

SCC JSC, using its own unique technology, has produced a new product – electrolyte for chemical power sources based on lithium tetrafluoroborate/gammabutyrolactone.

Specialty Chemicals division was created in Fuel Company of Rosatom TVEL which integrated all chemical productions into a single unit.

A pilot plant was put into operation at AECC JSC for the production of lithium monohydrate hydroxide (battery quality) required by both domestic and foreign manufacturers of lithium-ion batteries.

The decision was made to build a large-scale lithium hydroxide production facility at the plant's site using its own unique technology with a capacity of several thousand tons per year.

Tochmash-auto Ltd entered into divisionmanagement and the range of automotive components was expanded.

A laboratory has been created for pilot production of electrolyte.
